How We Work

Every model is unique, but the approach is the same. Seven stages from inquiry to delivery and ongoing support. On this page — the content of each stage, your involvement, and the expected outcome.

Seven steps

The sequence of stages is the same for a catalog model and custom development. The scope and timelines differ, but not the process.

Step 01
You
Choose a model or brief
What we do
We receive your inquiry from the website or a brief for custom development. The format is flexible — there are very few required fields.
What we need from you
Choose a model from the catalog, select the options you need, and describe your project in free form: what needs to be modeled, for whom, and in what format. If no suitable model is found — fill out a brief for custom development.
Step result
A recorded inquiry with a basic understanding of the task.
Step 02
Together
Confirmation and analysis
What we do
Once we receive your inquiry, we confirm that we have taken it on. We conduct the analysis together with you, asking clarifying questions about the project. Based on the results, we prepare a proposal.
What we need from you
Readiness to answer clarifying questions in writing.
Step result
A proposal: model scope, timelines, cost, and options.
Step 03
Together
Proposal approval and prepayment
What we do
Once the proposal is approved, we issue an invoice for 100% prepayment. We sign a contract and NDA. Work begins after payment is received.
What we need from you
Careful approval of the model scope and payment of the invoice. Appointment of a coordinator on your side — a person we will work with on day-to-day matters and who gathers information for the model.
Step result
Signed documents, payment received, coordinator appointed. Work has started.
Take the proposal approval seriously
Before work begins, adding an item to the model scope is free or requires a small surcharge. After work has started, the same item costs significantly more — part of what has already been built needs to be reworked. Everything you want in the final model should be locked in at this stage.
Step 04
Together
Data requests
What we do
During the project, we send targeted requests for data: bank statements, contracts, price lists, accounting system exports, historical performance figures.
What we need from you
The coordinator gathers the requested materials on your side and sends them to us. If certain data is unavailable — we note it and work with industry benchmarks instead.
Step result
All input data is in work. The model is populated with your real numbers, not defaults.
Step 05
Together
Written alignment
What we do
Depending on project scale, we conduct written alignment check-ins via email or messenger — typically on large projects. We verify the direction of work: which parameters to adjust, which decisions to make.
What we need from you
Participation of the coordinator, and if needed — the decision maker on the client side (owner, CFO, model recipient).
Step result
Documented decisions on key choices before they become rework.
Step 06
Us
Model delivery
What we do
By the time of delivery, the model is fully populated with the data you provided. We hand over the Excel file, an explanatory note, and a presentation (if included in the scope). We conduct a model walkthrough: demonstrating the structure and how to work with the key parameters.
What we need from you
The model recipient at the walkthrough — owner, CFO, investor. Readiness to ask questions.
Step result
Final files and the model walkthrough. A recording of the walkthrough is available upon request.
Step 07
Us
Acceptance and support
What we do
After delivery, we send an acceptance certificate. For six to twelve months, we provide advisory support: answering questions and addressing feedback from the model recipient (bank, investor, committee).
What we need from you
Signing the acceptance certificate. The line of communication with the coordinator is maintained throughout the support period.
Step result
Model support for 6–12 months at no additional cost.

What's the same for all projects

These items do not depend on the model chosen, the industry, or the project size — they are fixed for every engagement.

1100% prepayment upon proposal approval — invoice issued after scope is signed off
2A designated coordinator on your side for the duration of the project
3Written alignment check-ins on large projects
4By delivery, the model is fully populated with your real data
5Advisory support for 6–12 months after delivery
If the project scope changes significantly
Minor adjustments within the agreed scope are covered by support. In case of significant changes to the inputs — a change of model recipient, strategy, business model, or regulatory requirements — and the need to rework part of the model, the scope of changes is assessed separately and formalized as an additional proposal.
